The Vienna Energy Security Dialogue is an annual event that brings together high-level participants from politics, industry, science and civil society to address the key energy issues of the moment. Jointly organized by the OSCE and the Austrian Member Committee of the World Energy Council (WEC Austria) with the support of Ernst & Young and the Federation of Austrian Industries, the Dialogue is a leading international forum for stakeholders of the energy sector to share experiences and ideas on safe, affordable and environmentally responsible energy systems. 

The 4th Edition of the Vienna Energy Security Dialogue will take place in a blended format on October 22, 2021, and will discuss energy markets and security during the global recovery with a focus on:

  • The global recovery: implications for energy security and the energy transition

  • The role of energy markets in bridging the emissions gap
