‘New era’ begins for Minnesota solar and storage market as US$80 million incentives package passed
The US state of Minnesota has passed a package of incentives for solar, energy storage, microgrids and energy resiliency totalling US$80 million. The ‘Omnibus Environment, Natural Resources, Climate, and Energy Finance and Policy bill (HF 2310)’ will now head to the desk of Governor Tim Walz for signing into law in the next few days, trade body MnSEIA said. MnSEIA, The Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association, represents the state’s solar and storage industries.
